Agricultural (Anti-Rural) Policy |
A Ghost Town - The future of much of Rural Australia under the Greens. The Greens are an anti-rural party who attack country people by targetting them with unfair laws, fines and restrictions designed to punish them for working the land and feeding the nation.
In order to implement their extreme agenda, the Greens need to supress the activities of farmers in order to satisfy their inner city constituency who live comfy lives divorced from the reality of actual work.
The Greens laws and regulations will affect every single aspect of farming including:
- Crops - Change to New Types
- Herbicide - Reduce
- Pesticide - Reduce
- Farming Systems - Change
- Irrigation - Reduce
- Soil - Change Usage
- Landclearing - Ban
- Anti-Biotics - Ban Regular Use
- Feedlots - Phase-out
- Battery Cages - Phase-out
The Greens will even force many struggling Farmers from their land:
3.2.6 Developing a recurrent fund to finance the retirement, covenanting, recovery and resale of land unsuited to continued agricultural use, and/or considered to be of ecological significance, either directly or through Trust for Nature.^
Farmers work on the same property for generations, normally undertaking minimal education, instead working to provide our nation with food and valuable exports. The Greens will reward them for their efforts by forcing them from the land to lives as a poor angry underclass in the outer suburbs of our cities.
Some of their policies have Orwellian Tones:
3.1.4 Instituting landscape-scale sustainable Land and Water Management Plans, which will include the redesign of irrigation systems, and designation of land usage for cropping, forestry, wetlands, biodiversity corridors and urban development in the landscape.^
In other words a compliance committee to ensure that farmers tow the Greens line and adopt their Hippy Farming Practice Ideology.
Farmers will go bankrupt and the price of food will skyrocket.
This includes Government Funded Greens Indoctrination Sessions where Organic Farming is promoted.
3.1.7 Facilitating field days, seminars and other educational frameworks to promote sustainable practices in agriculture, including the adoption of organic farming methods and integrated pest management practices.^
And if you don't follow the Greens Farming techniques ?
3.1.10 Granting drought relief on the adoption of appropriate sustainable farming methods.^
No drought-aid for you!
Many of their other policies come straight from a hippy commune:
- Phasing out of battery cages and feedlots.^
- Banning the routine use of antibiotics in animal husbandry.^ - Animals will become sick and grow smaller, increasing animal deaths and increasing the price of food for consumers.
- Regulate agricultural land from urban development.^
- Regulate to protect animal welfare.^
- Legislating to regulate land clearing^
The Greens have bought into the Anti-Science side of the GE Food debate:
3.3.1 Protecting natural and agricultural systems from the risks of contamination from Genetically Engineered (GE) organisms and their products.^
Which means any chance of producing more food using less pesticide, water and land are minimal.
